cambridge chicken & mushroom soupThis is my absolute favourite soup, the Cambridge Chicken & Mushroom soup I have to say tastes just like a cuppa soup BUT it is not watery at all. It is a nice thick warming soup with little bits of mushroom in it and parsley and it is very satisfying in my opinion., ok so it would go down even better with a nice crusty brown roll but NO! ….they are not allowed :-)

I used to use my shaker as I thought being at work it is kind of hard to use a blender J but the hot air makes the shaker leak and I didn’t realise you were not supposed to put hot liquid in it and kind of sprayed my colleague sitting next to me at work who wasn’t too impressed – so I wouldn’t recommend that :-)

To make you simply add 227ml (8 fl oz) of hot (not boiling) water into a container, add the contents of the sachet to the water and  using a blender or whisk, carefully mix until its smooth with no lumpy bits – 15 minutes.
