Pork & Apple Burgers - Makes 8 Burgers - Syn Free on Slimming World

  • 2 lbs of extra lean pork mince
  • 3 apples (I used pink lady's, my fav, but you can you use any sort you wish)
  • 2 tsp of sage (I used Schwartz)
  • Salt & pepper
  1. Separate the mince as you take it from the pack and add to a big bowl
  2. Add 1 tsp of sage and mix thoroughly
  3. Then add further 1 tsp of sage and mix well
  4. Do the same with Salt & Pepper to season
  5. Take your 3 apples & firstly slice them (remove the core)
  6. Then dice into small cubes (this bit takes a bit longer to do)
  7. Add half of the diced apple to the pork mice and mix
  8. Then add rest of diced apple & mix
  9. Divide the mince into 8 equal sized balls
  10. Squeeze each ball tight to remove all excess water
  11. Then take each ball, flatten it out into a round burger
  12. Thick or thin burgers your choice
  13. Heat the oven to about 180c
  14. Bake for approx 20 minutes
  15. Serve and enjoy :-)
  16. You can freeze these (I do as I batch cook) and you can pan fry them in fry light Or even BBQ
