Syn Free sunday roast dinner on extra easy and free on original if you use HEB for the potatoes

  1. **************************
  2. Perfect roast potatoes
  3. Preheat oven to 200 degrees gas mark 6.
  4. Peel and chop desired amount of potatoes.
  5. Par boil them.
  6. When soft drain using a colander.
  7. TIPS : toss them about in the colander to create rough edges.
  8. Spray frylight butter/sunflower into the dish and put potatoes in.
  9. Spray some frylight on top of the potatoes and roast oven for about an hour to an hour and a half or untill golden.
  10. Mid way through cooking turn them and and spray a little more frylight on top.

  12. Sausage and herb stuffing.
  13. g extra lean pork mince
  14. Zest of half a lemon
  15. onions finely chopped
  16. egg beaten
  17. Handful of freshly chopped sage
  18. Handful of freshly chopped parsley
  19. slices of smoked bacon all visible fat removed and cut into strips
  20. Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  21. Method:
  22. In a bowl mix all the ingredients together and leave in the fridge for 3-4 hours
  23. Shape into little balls and wrap a strip of bacon round the ball then another to make a cross
  24. Spray a baking tray with frylight place the balls leaving a little space between each.
  25. Cook for 35-40 mintues at 200Âșc.

  27. Syn free gravy
  28. beef oxo cubes
  29. ml water, boiling
  30. Handful of frozen onions
  31. Small handful of frozen mixed peppers
  32. Small handful of frozen dices swede
  33. Small handful of frozen diced carrot
  34. garlic clove, peeled and crushed
  35. heaped tsp rosemary
  36. Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  37. Method:
  38. No need for frylight as the onions and peppers are frozen they will cook nicely without it.
  39. Cook the onions and pepper for about 4 minutes, add the garlic and cook for a further minute.
  40. Pour the boiling water in the pot and add the oxo cubes, carrot and swede and season.
  41. Cook for about 20 minutes on a medium heat.
  42. Remove from the heat and leave to cool down for 10 minutes.
  43. Use an electric hand blender and blend ( dont blend it so much that all veg disappears)
  44. You want it so ut smooth but can still see bits.
  45. Add the rosemary, return to the heat and simmer for another 20 minutes.

  47. Carrot and swede mash
  48. g carrots, peeled and chopped into small pieces
  49. g swede, peeled and chopped into small pieces
  50. Freshly ground salt and pepper
  51. Method in a large pan of boiling water cook the carrots and swede until soft enough to mash.
  52. Drain, mash and season well.
  53. Tip: add a little nutmeg if desired.
