Week 10 – Slimming World Food Diary – Extra Easy Plan

salmon & new potato saladThis week has been a good week so far as I can see food wise not too many Syns, good choices so to gain ½ was really annoying, the body just does not make sense to me sometimes, but I am wondering if I am eating too many new potatoes as let’s face it you cannot eat unlimited carbs and still lose weight no matter what anyone says healthy eating include portion control too! Also my breakfasts seem to be the same so I think I will try and change those up a bit.

I used to weigh these out potatoes, 200g which was 3-4 reasonable sized potatoes, plenty in my view, but I think an extra 2 or 3 here and there could be an issue for me. I do not exercise at all (as I do not enjoy it and am holding out to lose as much as I can before I have to introduce it) I am making sure I have my 1/3 Super Free etc. and this is why I keep food diaries as if I didn’t I wouldn’t be able to work out where I am potentially going wrong.

This is what food optimising is all about finding what works for you as everyone is different and not losing faith!! It does work 100% and this is a lifelong change for me so no giving up here willpower by the bucket load J and only 12 weeks to go till the wedding.

Plan Followed – Extra Easy

Thursday 30th May 2013 – Total Syns 10

Breakfast

  • 2 weetabix (HEB)
  • 350ml skimmed milk (HEA)
  • Banana
  • Mixed frozen berries from Morrison’s

Lunch

  • Chicken in black bean sauce & boiled rice (5 Syns)
  • Salad
  • Muller light
  •  2x apple

Dinner

  • Syn free sausage
  • Mange tout & baby corn
  • New potatoes
  • Alpen light bar (3 Syns)
  • Tub of quark
  • Option mint madness sachet 11g (2 Syns)


Friday 31st May – Total Syns 5

Breakfast

  • 2 weetabix (HEB)
  • 350ml skimmed milk (HEA)
  • Banana
  • Mixed frozen berries from Morrison’s

Lunch

  • Weight watchers sausages x2 (1 Syn)
  • Salad
  • Hellman’s light mayonnaise 1tbsp (2 Syns)
  • Apple
  • Banana
  • Muller light

Dinner

  • Diet coke chicken
  • Baby corn & mange tout
  • Brown rice
  • Tub of quark
  • Options Belgian chocolate 11g sachet (2 Syns)

 

Saturday 1st June – Total Syns 6

Breakfast

  • 2 weetabix (HEB)
  • 350ml skimmed milk (HEA)
  • Banana
  • Mixed frozen berries from Morrison’s

 

Lunch

  • 3 bacon medallions & pork & apple burger
  • Salad
  • New potatoes
  • Light mayonnaise (2 Syns)
  • Grapes
  • Muller light

 

Dinner

  • Turkey stir fry with onions, peppers, mushrooms & brown rice
  • Blue dragon half sachet chow Mein sauce ( 3 Syns)
  • 2 x laughing cow cheese triangles light (3 Syns)

  • Cabbage
  • Broccoli
  • New potatoes
  • Runner beans
  • Tub of quark
  • Basic gravy with meat juices (5 Syns)
  • Option cracking hazelbut 11g sachet (1.5 Syns)

 

Monday 3rd June – Total Syns 4

Breakfast

  • 2 weetabix (HEB)
  • 350ml skimmed milk (HEA)
  • Banana
  • Mixed frozen berries from Morrison’s

Lunch

  • Leftover turkey stir fry with brown rice and salad
  • Apple x 2
  • Muller light

Dinner

  • Salmon & new potato salad (lettuce, tomato, cucumber, red onions)
  • Hellman’s light mayonnaise 2 tbsp (4 Syns)
  • 2 x apples
  • Muller light

Dinner

  • 2 Syn Free Sausages
  • Broccoli & new potatoes
  • Tub of quark
  • Options hazelnut 11g sachet (1.5 Syns)

 

Wednesday 15th May – Total Syns – 25.5

Breakfast (in hotel)

  • 2 weetabix (HEB)
  • 350ml skimmed milk (HEA)
  • Banana
  • Mixed frozen berries from Morrison’s

Lunch

Dinner (after weigh in)
