Week 3 – Maintained Weight – Not Eating Enough? – Slimming World Food Diary – Original Plan

slimming world burgerThis week was a total disappointment, I had been good all week, follow the plan but when I got on the scales last night I was stunned to see I had maintained my weight and not loss anything at all. Quite upsetting considering I need to lose another 2 stone 10 lbs (to make it 6 stone in total) by September which is when I get married, I WILL get there though and my diary is worth a read and I would love to have others opinions on what I am doing wrong so please leave your comments below, support and advice is the great thing about Slimming World so thanks in advance.

I have been thinking about possibly switch to Extra Easy, not eating enough carbs on original? What do you guys think?

Do it, switch to Extra Easy! If only for one week to see if you like it. For one thing statistically Slimming World members get the biggest losses when following EE which is why they focus on it now. Apart from that I find it’s so much easier to eat ‘normally’. If I’m having spag bol I don’t want to weigh my spaghetti! And I’m sorry but for me only spaghetti will do.

Also, I would say that perhaps you aren’t eating enough. Everyone is different and if you’re eating til you’re full then it shouldn’t be a problem, but I’d be constantly hungry if I was eating what you’re eating. For your lunch one day you had one egg whereas I would have had three! I am a greedy mare but when I stick to EE I really do have great results.

If I were you I’d just try and and see how you go. If you find it’s not for you, you could always go back to green or original. Maybe the switch would give your body a bit of a shake up and get things moving again.

Anyway I hope my rambling helps in some way! Good luck x

oh thank you so much for the advice Hayley and for taking the time to post it, this will really help me so thank you again. I think EE makes sense too and yes I think under eating isn’t helping me either i think ive gone from one extreme (cambridge diet) and being TOO CAREFUL agree a shake up is needed lovely. Lol I think with the 1 egg again I am being cautious, thanks for the tips lovely xx

    Hi there

I too think you need to eat more, there was one day you had fruit for lunch and a yogurt and hifi bar. I honestly think you need to be having more! Lol!

I would definittely try extra easy, its so easy and versatile and so many meals you can have, you could have pasta salad or something for lunch and roast dinners, spag bol (my fave), curry….the list is endless for dinner!

Good luck and keep us updated x
