This curry believe it or not is suitable if you are following the Cambridge Weight Plan on the sole source + plan to no more boring plain chicken :-) – just increase chicken to 245g for Step 2.

no oil is used in making this dish, you could add rice but beware this will increase the calories and on Cambridge SS+ you cannot have rice anyway

  • 170g of chicken
  • 80g of spinach
  • ½ ltr of boiling water
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1tsp crushed chilli pepper
  • Mint (fresh)
  1. Take your 80g of spinach and place in a pan
  2. Add half a litre of boiling water from kettle
  3. Cook so the spinach softens or wilts then mashed it up with a wooden spatula.
  4. Add the 170g raw chicken with some mint, crushed chilli pepper & curry powder Cover and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes
  5. Then remove lid & cook further 5 minutes on higher heat
  6. Allow it to thicken by steaming the water off
  7. Serve immediately
