Pancakes – The Cambridge Weight Plan Way

pancakesIf you are following SS+ Step 2, Step 3 or any of the other plans which give an egg allowance,this is a great way to enjoy Pancakes but not have the high fat and calorie content of traditional pancakes.

You can just use 1 egg from your food allowance on CWP to make these tasty alternatives. So if you are calorie and health conscious give them a try, Do not over cook them!!

Pancakes - The Cambridge Weight Plan Way (Serves 1)

  • 1 egg
  • 6 tablet sweeteners (crushed)
  • Makes 2 pancakes
  1. Separate the egg yolk and white
  2. Add 3 crushed sweeteners to the egg white, use a mixer to whip up until its stiff
  3. Add rest of the sweetener to the egg yolk and mix well
  4. Fold the egg yolk mixture into the egg white mixture
  5. Spray a pan with fry light and pour half of the mixture into the pan
  6. Cook for 1 minute then flip over and cook the other side for 1 minute
  7. Repeat to make your 2nd pancake
  8. Crush a further sweetener if you wish and sprinkle over
  9. If you have a fruit allowance you could also top with a fruit from your choices
  10. Serve and enjoy
