Peppercorn Sauce – Syn Free & Fabulous For Steak

slimming world pepper corn sauce syn freeA fab little recipe for peppercorn sauce which goes really well with steak and slimming world chips

It is completely Syn Free too.

Peppercorn Sauce - Syn Free & Fabulous For Steak

Ingredients
  • 4 shallots finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves crushed
  • Frylight
  • 350ml rich beef stock
  • 2 level tsp of mustard powder
  • 2 oxo cubes
  • 2 level tbsp of pink peppercorns
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 2-3 tbsp of fat-free fromage frais.
Instructions
  1. Cook the shallots and garlic in a pot sprayed with frylight for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Mix the mustard powder in with the stock
  3. Add to the pot and bring to the boil.
  4. Add the oxo cubes and pink peppercorns and cook for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Remove from the heat
  6. Season and stir in the fromage frais.

    Hi,

    I am currently doing the Cambridge diet, for the second time. First in 2009 with 9 stones lost. Put it all on by 2014 plus. I have lost over 30 lbs in a month but i hate this diet and opi know it isnt training me/my brain how to deal with food.

    So, i am very inactive because of my weight but could i lose on the slimming world diet? I have spoken to two members of SW anfpd they talk of all you can eat but it scares me to try because of my inactivity.

    I would really appreciate your advice.

    All you can eat but only of so called free foods. There’s lots to choose from though . It is all food that makes you feel full for longer and is high in nutrients but low in calories. 11 pounds off in 5 weeks for me and no faddy foods and never feel hungry. I suggest you give it a go for a few weeks. There is no magic answer but SW seems to work.
