Tuna & Salad Burgers – 200 Calories (serves 1)

salad and tuna burgersThis recipe for Tuna burgers with green salad is only 200 calories and you can of course double the ingredients if cooking for 2. It is very low calories, packed with protein and a really quick tasty snack for lunch or dinner.

I continue to be amazed at, with such a small food list on the CWP SS+, the amazing recipes that can be made up with a little creativity. If you are following step 2 on the plan you can just increase your Tuna to 260g as per the book.

Ingredients
  • 90g tinned tuna (in water not oil)
  • 1 large egg
  • 20g mushrooms chopped up
  • 20g spring onion
  • 40g green salad
  • Pinch of black pepper
Instructions
  1. Open tuna and drain water away and ad to a large bowl
  2. Add the egg, chopped mushrooms, spring onion and pepper
  3. Mix together
  4. Take a frying pan and add some spray oil (or use a non stick pan)
  5. Take the mixture and make into small balls and place on the pan
  6. Cook until solid on each side
  7. Serve with green salad
